How To Put On A Slipcover
- Gently pull relaxed fitting slipcover down over the top
of the piece, carefully working it from top to bottom
and front to back.
- It might be necessary to tuck here and there to achieve the look you want.
- Place the seat cushionon the back edge (the front edge is rounded). Now start to
put the cushion cover on the
front with the zipper toward the back.
- Fold loose back cushions in half before stuffing into covers, then work corners of cushions into corners
of covers.
- There's a relaxed feel and look to your slipcover. Most large creases and wrinkles will fall out in a few
days.
- The trap door on sleeper slipcovers should be opened and folded forward when you are ready to open the sleeper
mechanism. Enjoy you sleeper without having to remove the slipcover, then after closing the bed mechanism, you
can reattach the trap door, rezip and replace the sofa cushions.
