James Killian is the owner and CEO of the JJ Hyde Company.
He has lived his entire life in North Carolina and grew up knowing
North Carolina was the home of furniture manufacturing. James came to
realize he had a talent for designing beautiful furniture and by utilizing his
business background with his design capabilities, he began a dream that has spanned
23 years of growth in the furniture manufacturing industry. He is now an industry leader in
furniture design. In the last six years, he has concentrated on the changing design trends and created a
cleaner urban loft look that had started to dominate the scene.
So began the JJ Hyde Gold Series.
The Gold Series consists of two collections. The Elite Gold Leather category offers the look of old Parisian club styles; the sleek contemporary style, the attached pillow back along with many others. The Uptown Loft collection features clean and comfortable upholstered and slipcovered furniture. We have distinguished ourselves by keeping our selections of fabrics and leathers to a limited amount. James found that combining the casual comfort of home with the styles of today added to the durability of his designs. He had a winner!!! Also included in these collections are Sleepy Sofas™ for those who need a little extra.

We offer sofas, sleepers, loveseats, chairs, sectionals, ottomans, benches, beds, childrens chairs and pillows. You can choose between leather, fabric or a slipcover design that you can change with the seasons.
